Tenchi Muyo is about an ordinary teen-age boy named Tenchi Masaki who stumbles upon a demon in a cave at the Masaki shrine.
Accidently, Tenchi releases not a demon but a space pirate named Ryoko. Ryoko had been sealed in the Masaki shrine for 700 hundred years!
Angry to find this out she explodes into a fit of rage and takes it out on poor little Tenchi.
Later on, more girls from outerspace show up like my favorite the greatest scientifical genius, Washu, and Ayeka, her younger sister Sasami, Kiyone, and her partner Mihoshi (the
two Galaxy Police officers after Ryokos hide). Another female from outerspace is everybody's favorite little cabbit Ryo-Ohki!! Along with all these
girls from outerspace you have Nobuyuki, Tenchi's horndog father, and his grandfather Katsuhito. Both of which play key roles in the series. Take all of this, stir, and you've got instant trouble! Tenchi & Company get into lots of trouble and fun in the Tenchi Muyo OVA.
