Theory of Love

I take a pause from the sunset
To think of all the people I've met
The good, bad and those in the middle
And of course you- the one that's a riddle

I've got the greatest mind in the Universe
But I can't figure you out- must be a curse
No experiment I design gives me a clue
As to why I think I've fallen in love with you!

You are kind- that's true, and really sweet
My equations fall short- the ends dont meet!
I can't explain it, no hypothesis has shown
Why over time my love for you has grown!

Can it be true? Can this be 'love'?
Why are you the only one I think of?
What is this odd feeling in my heart?
I can't explain it- I thought I was smart!

Is this right? Will I take a fall?
Will I get hurt- if I give you my all?
I've begun the inquiry of the love I have found
And fullfilling the theory... of our love abound...
